If you live in the United States of America, then from the time you become conscious of money, the Great Seal becomes a part of your psyche – whether you realize it or not. Moreover, since U.S. dollars are, in effect, standard international currency, this Great Seal infiltrates the minds of men the world over – both free and bond.

The centerpiece of this mandala is the All-Seeing Eye – an important symbol within freemasonry and rosicrucian traditions for hundreds of years. So it is not surprising to find pride among occultists who understand the significance of this emblem: “Our beautiful seal is an expression of Freemasonry, an expression of occult ideas.” (Wyckoff, H. S. The Great American Seal. The Mystic Light, the Rosicrucian Magazine, p.56) 1

The first attempts at including the All-Seeing Eye on the seal were not successful. The first die of the Great Seal was cut from brass in 1782. In 1825, 1841, 1877, 1885, and 1902, new dies were cut, but each time the reverse went uncut and unused . . . the Illuminati's plan for the New World Order had not been advanced far enough, yet, to be announced.

As the United States Federal Government invokes new, authoritarian powers over its people, one significant factor has not been discussed. That is, it has been firmly established, and several times proven, that a government cannot rule without the consent of the governed. Once a government - be it monarchy, theocracy, democracy - oversteps the bounds of power, the people have a divine and/or human right to renounce said authority. The first step is simply saying, “You do not rule me, anymore. I secede from this compact.”

Of course, once this is done, you are a criminal, a nationless vagabond, wandering the planes of non-existence. One may revoke the rule of a ruler in spirit, however, without announcing it to the world. This is what many people do today. Before long, a few sparks of liberty will ignite a clash between a central government run amok and the true spirit of America, which is the refutation of tyranny.

This is a most transparent, loaded question. Michael Badnarik is on ballots in 49 States, one less than Kerry or Bush. He has a mathematical chance of winning. Yet, there is no D. Yes: Badnarik. Or, what about E. Yes Nader, or Cobb, or Peroutka. The only reason that these candidates, especially the Libertarian who only lacks access to one State ballot, is not viable is BECAUSE O’Reilly didn’t have the D. and E. included throughout this entire election cycle. This is blatant propaganda and disinformation, the marching orders of O’Reilly’s higher masters. He has no choice in this. O’Reilly, forsake your wealth and standing in society. Tell the truth - that you have been ordered not to cover Michael Badnarik, and the other candidates. You will become a pauper again. You will possibly be stalked by intelligence and other Illuminati goons. But, Mr. O’Reilly, you will retain your honor to the United States of America and the freedom she once represented. Ah, but it is not to be. In Texas, there are only three candidates for President on the ballot. Bush, Kerry, and Badnarik. This is the case in at least ten States. Can even the most brain-dead little man believe that the Libertarian does not necessitate coverage? Badnarik would immediately pull out of Iraq, and many other countries, in direct opposition to the Kerry or Bush platform. This would staunch the wound that bleeds hatred over our meddling in foreign affairs. Being the greatest does not mean being the meanest, rudest, and loudest. The veil lifts. An anti-war candidate who has almost the entire electoral vote that could put him in the White House? “Hell no,” the Illuminati Disinformation Agent O’Reilly has quietly, like a cowardly thief in the night, professed. Badnarik is 100% against the Patriot Act. These two issues would have culled new membership from both Illuminati parties, Ds and Rs.

In part two of this article, we trace the thread of the concept of 'survival of the fittest' from Condorcet to Malthus, to Spencer, to Wallace and to Darwin; elucidate the 'predictive programming' contained in science fiction novels; and illuminate the extraterrestrial connection, specifically the Freemasonic import of Sirius, the Dog Star.

Science Fiction: A Means of Predictive Programming

Aldous Huxley first presented the 'scientific dictatorship' to the public imagination in his book Brave New World. In Dope, Inc., associates of political dissident Lyndon LaRouche claim that Huxley's book was actually a 'mass appeal' organizing document written 'on behalf of one-world order' (Dope, Inc., 538). The book also claims the United States is the only place where Huxley's 'science fiction classic' is taught as an allegorical condemnation of fascism. If this is true, then the 'scientific dictatorship' presented within the pages of his 1932 novel Brave New World is a thinly disguised roman a' clef - a novel that thinly veils real people or events - awaiting tangible enactment.

Such is often the case with 'science fiction' literature. According to researcher Michael Hoffman, this literary genre is instrumental in the indoctrination of the masses into the doctrines of the elite:

“Traditionally, 'science fiction' has appeared to most people as an adolescent genre, the province of time-wasting fantasies. This has been the great strength of this genre as a vehicle for the inculcation of the ideology favored by the Cryptocracy. As J.H. Towsen points out in Clowns, only when people think they are not buying something can the real sales pitch begin. While it is true that with the success of NASA's Gemini space program and the Apollo moon flights more serious attention and respectability was accorded 'science fiction,' nonetheless in its formative seeding time, from the late 19th century through the 1950s, the predictive program known as 'science fiction' had the advantage of being derided as the solitary vice of misfit juveniles and marginal adults.” (Hoffman, 205)

Thus, 'science fiction' is a means of conditioning the masses to accept future visions that the elite wish to tangibly enact. [Ed. Note: SF also widely uses Darwinian notions and language to project a fantastic future. This is another area of potential research.] This process of gradual and subtle inculcation is dubbed 'predictive programming.' Hoffman elaborates: 'Predictive programming works by means of the propagation of the illusion of an infallibly accurate vision of how the world is going to look in the future' (Hoffman, 205). Memes are instilled through the circulation of 'mass appeal' documents under the guise of 'science fiction' literature. Once subsumed on a cognitive level, these memes become self-fulfilling prophecies, embraced by the masses and outwardly approximated through the efforts of the elite.

Jacob Rothschild, the current head of the Rothschild dynasty, has intermarried with the Sinclair family, forging an important alliance between the head family of the Illuminati, and the supposed descendants of the Grail family.

As has been popularized recently by Dan Brown in the Da Vinci Code, or before him by the Holy Blood, Holy Grail, the Stuarts of Scotland are supposedly descended from King Arthur and Jesus Christ. These families are of course not descended from Jesus. The idea is preposterous. But they are related to the Holy Grail, and they are not Christians, but Kabbalists.

In reality, they, like all the aristocratic bloodlines that form the core of the Illuminati, are descended from Guillaume de Gellone of the eighth century AD. Guillaume's father was Rabbi Makhir, among the Exilarchs who ruled the Jews in Baghdad, who was sent West after a dispute over the successorship. In France, he took the name Theodoric, married Alda, the aunt of Charlemagne, and was appointed “King of the Jews” in the region of the Languedoc, with his capital the city of Narbonne.

Secret societies do nothing without multiple layers of esoteric meaning; symbolism is of vital importance. It was in this tradition that Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati on May 1st, 1776. When we look at the doctrine of the Illuminati, it becomes clear that the choice of May Day for its birth was no coincidence.

MAD: Terry, thanks for speaking with us today. I’ve been checking out your informative website on a regular basis for a few years now, and you’ve always got interesting updates and articles to share. First off, could you give us a little background on how you became interested in topics of the “New World Order”, and what made you decide to start your own website exposing these pervasive conspiracies?

TM: Thanks for asking and allowing me to indulge.

My quest began a little more than 17 years ago through an intense study of Bible prophecy. For a few years I was really obsessed. I bought all the popular prophecy books on the market, watched Jack Van Impe and Peter LaLonde religiously, and looked for signs of the end of the world and the imminent return of Christ. I was convinced that we were living in the last days foretold in Daniel, Revelation, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Isaiah.

Gradually, the material I got my hands on started to expand my scope of investigation. The turning point occurred, as it did for many, when I was giving a small book called None Dare Call it Conspiracy. I was hooked. My attention was now directed toward the machinations of the hidden ruling elite. Somehow it never occurred to me that if the Antichrist were to be revealed there would necessarily have to be a very powerful clique of financiers and well-placed insiders directing his ascendancy. When you start learning about the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergs, Secret Societies and a nefarious/nebulous Illuminati - all the pieces fall into place. Even knowing that there truly is something akin to a shadow government (they certainly make no mention of it in school), how can you go on and not have it change you in a profound way?

Thanks to Red Ice Creations, I was alerted to a story about a party celebrating the 40^th birthday of Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece. The Jones Report writes:

A multitude of European royalty attended a "Heaven and Hell" party hosted by Prince Pavlos (Greek) -- a costumed affair which included strippers and seemingly resembles the portrayal of decadent elites depicted in Stanley Kubrick's 'Eyes Wide Shut.'

The Heaven and Hell-themed party was held at Prince Pavlos' £12 million London mansion, and participants were decked out in mask and costume suggestive of Eyes Wide Shut. "Ice sculptures of angels graced a marquee with room for 200 in the garden, which was meant to be Heaven," writes Colin Fernandez of the Daily Mail. "Meanwhile, the swimming pool in the basement was covered over and decked out to resemble Hell, with stilt-walkers and erotic dancers."

That they would choose to dress up in a particular way as to allude to Eyes Wide Shut - the definitive film portrayal of elite-Illuminati debauchery - is significant. Royalty, after all, more than any other class, are exceedingly familiar with their ancestry. Prince Pavlos - I'm sure he's aware - is a direct descendant of a documented member of the Bavarian Illuminati: Karl Landgrave of Hessen-Kassel (1744-1836). Likewise, guests Prince Michael of Kent and his kids; Prince Andrew; the Viscount of Linley, David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones; and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway are all direct descendants of another documented member of the Bavarian Illuminati: Duke Ernst II of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (1745-1804).

As many of you know, since the posting of my "Illuminati Conspiracy Part One: Exegesis on the Available Evidence" in August 2005, I have been hard at work on a book about the Bavarian Illuminati. Orientation: The Bavarian Illuminati were the antagonists of the Jesuits, and vice versa

I have chosen to critique parts of | this webpage | as a means to inform the reader on certain facts essential to a proper understanding of the 18th Century Bavarian Order of Illuminati. The other reason is this: a particularly rabid and extremely annoying "Jesuits-rule-the-world" theorist who spams many YahooGroups (always in the customary all-caps shouting mode), had deigned this "Religious Counterfeits" webpage as the proper authority - I am not sure why - on the following theories: 1) that Adam Weishaupt was a Jesuit - not just Jesuit-trained, but a Jesuit priest; and 2) that the Illuminati, therefore, are synonymous with the Jesuits and, in fact, the two are the same (that is, the former was merely the organ of the latter, and the proof of said assertion is the fact that Weishaupt was supposedly a Jesuit himself). To someone who has even a modicum of familiarity with the 18th-Century European Enlightenment, this is indeed a preposterous claim; it's based upon a falsehood - Weishaupt being a Jesuit - and displays ignorance of the history of the period to which we speak.

A Metaprogrammer at the Door of Chapel Perilous

In the literature that concerns the Illuminati relentless speculation abounds. No other secret society in recent history - with the exception of Freemasonry - has generated as much legend, hysteria, and disinformation. I first became aware of the the Illuminati about 14 years ago. Shortly thereafter I read a book, written by Robert Anton Wilson, called Cosmic Trigger: Final Secret of the Illuminati. Wilson published it in 1977 but his opening remarks on the subject still ring true today:

Briefly, the background of the Bavarian Illuminati puzzle is this. On May 1, 1776, in Bavaria, Dr. Adam Weishaupt, a professor of Canon Law at Ingolstadt University and a former Jesuit, formed a secret society called the Order of the Illuminati within the existing Masonic lodges of Germany. Since Masonry is itself a secret society, the Illuminati was a secret society within a secret society, a mystery inside a mystery, so to say. In 1785 the Illuminati were suppressed by the Bavarian government for allegedly plotting to overthrow all the kings in Europe and the Pope to boot. This much is generally agreed upon by all historians. 1 Everything else is a matter of heated, and sometimes fetid, controversy.

It has been claimed that Dr. Weishaupt was an atheist, a Cabalistic magician, a rationalist, a mystic; a democrat, a socialist, an anarchist, a fascist; a Machiavellian amoralist, an alchemist, a totalitarian and an "enthusiastic philanthropist." (The last was the verdict of Thomas Jefferson, by the way.) The Illuminati have also been credited with managing the French and American revolutions behind the scenes, taking over the world, being the brains behind Communism, continuing underground up to the 1970s, secretly worshipping the Devil, and mopery with intent to gawk. Some claim that Weishaupt didn't even invent the Illuminati, but only revived it. The Order of Illuminati has been traced back to the Knights Templar, to the Greek and Gnostic initiatory cults, to Egypt, even to Atlantis. The one safe generalization one can make is that Weishaupt's intent to maintain secrecy has worked; no two students of Illuminology have ever agreed totally about what the "inner secret" or purpose of the Order actually was (or is . . .). There is endless room for spooky speculation, and for pedantic paranoia, once one really gets into the literature of the subject; and there has been a wave of sensational "ex-poses" of the Illuminati every generation since 1776. If you were to believe all this sensational literature, the damned Bavarian conspirators were responsible for everything wrong with the world, including the energy crises and the fact that you can't even get a plumber on weekends. (pp. 3-4)

That short excerpt is perhaps the most honest and succinct introduction to the Illuminati as you'll ever come across. So it is more than a bit ironic that Wilson, throughout the rest of the text, proceeds to perpetuate and expand upon similar myths, and in the process manages to take it to a whole new level. 2 In the end, the Illuminati had mystified Wilson as much as anyone in the preceding centuries.

Robert Anton Wilson (RAW) is an enigma in his own right: an archetypal Trickster in the tradition of Aleister Crowley or Timothy Leary, both of whom he greatly admires. 3 The Cosmic Trigger Trilogy is meant to awaken the reader to multiple mind-blowing streams of thought and completely shatter preconceived notions of perception, time and space - much as the writings of illuminists themselves. Herein lies the seed of speculation to the effect that he must surely be in on the conspiracy - some have gone so far as to believe he's the Grand Master (or inner head) of the Illuminati himself. Wilson has always toyed with the accusations, and in typical RAW fashion, he's never denied it outright.

Cosmic Trigger wasn't the first book Wilson dedicated to the theme, however. Two years earlier, in 1975, RAW and co-author Robert Shea popularized the modern wave of Illuminati conspiracies with the publication of the novel Illuminatus! Trilogy. A veritable cult classic, Illuminatus invigorated the underground market and spawned a whole new generation of conspiracy authors. One cannot read any of RAW's material without a healthy sense of humor, though, and Illuminatus is definitely no exception. Written between 1969 and 1971 it reads like a subversive anarchist manual, yet satirical and surreal at the same time. The cut-and-paste job of excerpts right into the flow of dialogue - from books and pamphlets on a wide range of conspiracy theories - probably boosted its appeal from the beginning.

Any researcher investigating the Illuminati today would be remiss not to mention RAW - especially in a book or document purporting to cover the subject in detail. With the exception of Myron Fagan, "Wild" Bill Cooper, 4 the John Birchers and Biblical endtimes literature, the formation of the current mythos surrounding the subject has a lot to do with the popularity of Wilson's books: have you ever seen the Illuminati and the star Sirius mentioned in the same paragraph?

Before plunging headlong into the history of the Bavarian Illuminati, it might be useful to have a look at Wilson's diagram - his interpretation (at the time) of the "occult conspiracy" as it has been transmitted through the ages (Cosmic Trigger: Final Secret of the Illuminati, p.188):

Pallas Athene (or Minerva to the Romans), the goddess of wisdom, honored the owl as her sacred bird. The owl was recognized as an emblem of penetrating sight and intelligence. It was considered to be a favorable omen if an owl was spotted on the battle field or at times of crisis. The Athenian silver tetradrachm bore the owl (Athene noctua); and owls were protected and thrived in great numbers at the Acropolis of Athens (a temple dedicated to Athena).

The Bavarian Order of the Illuminati

Minerval Seals of the Illuminati: two of three known to still exist. P.M.C.V. stands for Per Me Caeci Vident (Through me the blind become sighted). An owl holding an opened book (signifying learning), surrounded by a Laurel wreath (a symbol of learning or graduation); Per Me Caeci Vident was a reminder to the Superiors of the class, whose responsibility it was to properly instruct the Minervals. These medallions were worn around the necks of Minerval initiates.

For a secret society called the Order of the Illuminati - emulating the ancient schools of wisdom, and having a "Minerval Academy" as a foundation - would there have been a more fitting symbol than the Owl of Minerva?

The class of Minerval was a relatively low rank in the scheme of things. However, it was the soul of the Order, and functioned as a sort of assembly line for recruits.

Candidates advanced from Novice to the Minerval degree, where they were properly vetted, scrutinized, and indoctrinated. The Quibus Licet notebooks were introduced, maintained and thoroughly kept (which eventually turned into a detailed history of yourself and those around you). You were admonished to gain wisdom from figures in ancient Greece and Rome; essays were required to pass the test; and the art of Scrutator (or Physiognomy) was elevated to a sacred science. The Minerval Superior - a Minor or Major Illuminatus - was given the code: Nosce te ipsum; Nosce alios [Know thyself; Know others].

A Minerval Academy was also known as a Church; its meetings marked on the Illuminati's calendar as sacred. To the right is the seal of the Freising Minerval Church. Instead of the letters P.M.C.V., they are replaced with S.E.M.T.: Sigil Ecclesiastic Minerva Thebes; or, "Seal of the Freising Minerval Church" (i.e. Freising's alias within the Order was Thebes).

Another layer of the owl symbolism, was to assure its initiates that the Illuminati does its bidding at night: nocturnal toil (see Perfectibilists: The 18th Century Bavarian Order of the Illuminati (Trine Day: 2009), pp. 220-2). It harkens back to the tradition of night being the "mother of counsels." Desiderius Erasmus, for instance, recorded the Latin adage: In nocte consilium [Night is the mother of counsel]. Apparently, the lesson is to be cautious or prudent, not to undertake a thing impulsively ("sleep on it"). Indeed, for one of the maxims the Illuminati had given to the Minervals, was: Quidquid agis, age prudente et respice finem [Whatever you do, do cautiously, and be mindful of the end] (Perfectibilists, op. cit., p. 227 n. 33).

The Symbols

Like any good secret, keeping it from everyone else is only fun if you can flirt with the danger of it being exposed.  You know, like playing footsie under the table with your wife’s friend that you’ve been covertly banging for the last six months.  As awesome as the thought of it is, a bunch of world leaders playing footsie with Satan under an Applebee’s dinner table just isn’t feasible.  Satan has MTV shows to write.  He’s busy.  Instead, the Illuminati just slap their sacred symbols on any and everything they can and then laugh when conspiracy theory fanboys salivate over them on message boards the world over.  Examples of Jay-Z embedding a number of these symbols in his public activity are numerous.  To see an exhaustive display of Jay-Z (along with Kanye West, Nas and Beyonce) rocking these symbols, you could watch the video below.
